When will my order be shipped?
This depends on the product(s) you have purchased.
All Longing For Sleep collection items are made to order and it takes approximately 4-5 weeks to make them.
Black Heart collection items will be shipped in 1-2 working days.
When will my order arrive?
Free Express Delivery will be at your doorstep in 2-3 working days depending on the location. Regular recorded post delivery can take up to 5-9 working days for European countries and up to 21 working days for rest of the world. Payment and customs issues may cause delays, but usually it doesn't take that long, though. Please contact us in case you haven't received your parcel in that timeframe.
Can I have my order quicker?
If you can't wait that long to receive your new friends, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for express courier services. Please note that the extra shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be paid partially nor in full by us for any reason.
And what about returning and item? Can I have a refund?
We would be very sad to hear if you need to return anything, but you are entitled to an exchange or refund within 14 days after receiving your order. Please note that the product must be returned unused, in the original packaging, including all tags. In case of refund neither the original shipping cost nor the return shipping cost will be refunded. At the occasion of an exchange we will send you the new product without shipping cost.
What fabrics do you use?
We select the materials with highest care and we test and wear them before taking them to the production. Usually these are natural materials like cotton, wool, silk and viscose, but sometimes we stumble upon wonderful man-made materials that meet our high standard in touch and quality. It's always about the good feeling!

It is in the carefully selected fabrics, meticulously designed cuts, well considered details, hand printed labels and hang-tags, warm heart and - you!

Where do you get the blankets you are using for making the coats?
We dedicate a lot of time finding the blankets because such blankets have become rare in time and each of them is unique. There are a variety of sources for the blankets starting from our relatives and acquaintances to fleamarkets and many other trustworthy springs. Each blanket is carefully selected and only the best ones are picked for the coats.
Are the blankets cleaned before they are turned into coats?
Yes, the blankets are carefully cleaned according to our high quality standards.
What is the composition of the used material?
The woollen blankets contain at least 95% wool. The inner details and pockets are made from thick high quality silk.
Are the coats warm?
Yes! They are made of thick wool and will keep you warm on a chilly day.
Why are the crystals inside of the coat, not outside?
Reflecting Marit Ilison’s trademark of translating feelings into beautiful physical matter, there is a reason why the embellishment is discretely hidden inside the coats. Though she’d like to stay wrapped in a blanket for a whole day during deep winter, she hears a pricking conscience whispering in her ear that she should be working instead. This little voice is like sand on her side or a pea under the mattress which won’t let her fall into slumber. Therefore, she has translated this feeling into the rich embellishments inside of the coats, which also reflect an idea of a secret dream world inside the coat shimmering of beautiful dreams. We are using best crystals and create unique embellishments for each piece.
Are the crystals inside the coat comfortable and safe?
The embellishment is prepared with utmost care, so that the crystals will leave a pleasant feeling and will stay in place. It feels little like x-ray protection apron. Still, please bear in mind that everything is handmade and we encourage you to handle the coat with care.
Can I order different size than displayed in the store?
All coats are unique and ONE SIZE. The measurements vary depending on the size of the original blanket, since we apply a zero-waste approach.
Can I order longer sleeves for my coat?
All coats are unique and the measurements vary depending on the size of the original blanket. Hence we are not able to make them longer than the original blanket allows. But we suggest to wear long-leg gloves for a colder day or just to give a touch of elegance!
Can I order a coat in different color than displayed in the store?
All of our coats are unique one-off pieces made of vintage Soviet blankets which are complicated to find these days and we work hard to source them. So unfortunately we can't offer the pieces in different colour range, unless we find such blankets.
